QHSE Coordinator

Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per annum

Contract: Permanent

Hours of work: 35 hours per week

Location: Portlehen, Aberdeen, AB12

About The Organisation

Our client is a privately owned service company working in the global energy sector with around 35 employees. They are headquartered in Portlethen, Aberdeenshire and provide speciality chemicals and consultancy services to the Global Energy Industry. The Portlethen office houses their Operations, Research & Development and Commercial Operations divisions. They have regional offices located in Dubai and the Netherlands.

The organisation is in the conventional energy sector (Oil & Gas), but the business is expanding into the Renewable Energy Industries such as Geothermal and Offshore Wind. The business consists of a dynamic team who strive to provide high quality, responsive service and bespoke solutions to their clients’ challenges and projects.

The role

The organisation are seeking a QHSE Coordinator to provide full administrative support to the QHSE team. You will be responsible for implementing and monitoring site-specific health, safety and environmental operations and tasks at the assigned job site. As their QHSE Coordinator you will be a primary contact for employees and supervisors concerning safety-related matters. You will support the company in maintaining the various management systems and associated accreditations.

What You Will Be Doing
Complete document control functions including producing, revising & uploading company documents to SharePoint in accordance with associated management system procedures.Provide full administrative support for Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems, ensuring daily upkeep and tasks are completed as per the QHSE Manager’s direction.Help expedite status / close out of actions that have been identified as a result of Problem Identification Reports (NCR’s), DSEAR assessment etc.Help to provide Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental reports and data as required and ensure all H&S procedures and policies are up to date and in line with current legislation.Update systems and training recordsHave experience in writing / participating in Risk / COSHH assessments.Ensure all QHSE training & competency requirements for all staff is completed, documented & up to date.Maintain all First Aid & Burns Kits on a monthly basis.
About You
Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etcDemonstrable administrative experienceSome experience in QHSEGood organisational and time management skills.
Hours of work are 35 per week. The normal working pattern will be Monday to Friday with a one hour unpaid lunch break each day. Initially this role will be full time office based with hybrid working possible once fully familiarised with the role.
