Job Description: MISSIONResponsible for the development of future wind plants, in accordance with the company guidelines, in order to build, develop and boost the portfolio of the wind activity to the successful fulfillment of the business plan. You will coordinate the wind business development in UK and Ireland. MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIESIdentify development opportunities: explore new and relevant sites through targeted personal research or through results made available by the GIS Team, with public and private actors; Identify greenfield and/or brownfield projects with suitable wind resource and electrical transmission gridWork closely with other departments and provide support for the introduction of new technologies within the pipeline, such as storage or hydrogenPresent, explain and advocate the project to elected representatives, authorities, associations, residents and any other stakeholdersRepresent the company in the field, interfaces with and coordinates all players involved in project developmentDevelop and animate a network of business introducersMonitor and apply sector regulationsProvide pipeline updates, progress megawatt updates, and other reporting requests on a timely basis as neededMentor, challenge and accompany Project Developers in carrying out assigned tasks and achieving business objectivesManage and exercise leadership, setting objectives and responsibilities, encourage and motivate staff to strengthen the commitment to the company. Coaching and mentoring the team members to promote skills improvement and an adequate professional growth Apply and promote best practices among the team members
REQUIRED PROFILE ACADEMIC LEVELMaster degree REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE10-15 years of experience in the development of solar and wind projects in UK, experience in Ireland is a plusExperience managing a team
LANGUAGES English; Spanish is a plus SKILLS / COMPETENCESNegotiation skillsExcellent leadership and organizational skills.Written and verbal communication skills.Teamwork.Autonomy in decision making/problem solving.Strong regional network and ability to build trusted relationships.Strong influencing, interpersonal and change management skills.Ability to be self-motivated.
