About The Team
The Office of Regional Economic Development (ORED) within Regional Precincts leads business attraction, promotion and strategy across regional NSW. We are recognised as the only fully dedicated regional Investment Promotion Agency (IPA) in Australia and a leader in the field. We provide a range of tailor-made facilitation and information services to investors that are looking to establish or expand in regional NSW to drive economic development and create sustainable jobs.
The Director of Investment Attraction will drive and deliver regional and state-wide economic initiatives, projects and activities in collaboration with NSW Government agencies, local councils, and the private sector to improve the lives of people living in regional NSW. The position will also lead the promotion of employment lands and priority precincts across regional NSW to maximise investment, export and employment growth, and contribute to long term economic outcomes for the state.
Lead the delivery of strategic and major project development across regional NSW. Lead investment attraction activities and promote regional precincts domestically and internationally to drive economic growth and boost job creation for regional NSWEstablish and maintain strong collaborative relationships, at a senior level, with internal and external stakeholders including Ministerial offices, leaders in the private, not-for-profit, state and local government sectors.Enhance Aboriginal outcomes by supporting capability building and skills development programs.
